Insight Global Nuclear Technologist in Cambridge, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a nuclear technologist to join a top automation company on a contract basis. This resource will be joining a nuclear engineering team, working with the design group, project manager, and end client to develop, test, and implement system solutions that meet the customer's process requirements. Responsibilities include writing test plans, setting up test cells, and conducting reactor mock ups and prototypes with a large focus on integrating machines, problem solving, process tuning, process design improvements, and closing the loop once machine is built.

Skills and Requirements

1-5 years of experience in machine design/build, machine integrations, hands-on tooling and structured problem solving

Willingness to get Nuclear Energy Worker status, and work in radioactive environments including nuclear site work (working on equipment for nuclear customers, supporting commission often required)

A Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electromechanical Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent. Experience in nuclear tooling/equipment development and testing, as well as field support

Energy, automotive, marine, aerospace industry experience

Certified Engineering Technologist null
