During your internship, you will be working with a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of transportation projects including major roadway and interchange projects, bridge replacement projects, and roadway maintenance projects. Working closely with supervisors and mentors, you will have the opportunity to: Perform detailed engineering calculations Write technical reports Develop construction plan drawings using Microstation/Openroads design software Develop construction cost estimatesEducation | Experience: Minimum Qualifications: Enrollment in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program Working towards bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering An interest in learning more about careers in the transportation industry Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and eager to learn Strong verbal and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using CADD/Design software (Microstation/Openroads)
A focus or coursework related to transportation
Prior bridge engineering related internship or similar experience
