Job Description:

Performs full range of duties related to processing patient information for visits which may include: reception, telephone management, registration, Check-in and Check-out, appointment scheduling, medical records management, and insurance prior authorization with the different insurance companies for ordered testing. Responsible for accurate and timely input of collected information into the hospital information systems. Provides essential clinical support for several Practice Providers

Salary Range:

$17.00-22.55 an hour Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.

Experience: Previous medical office and medical terminology experience preferred.

License/Certification Required: N/A

Skills: Ability to use various hospital information systems (which may include Aria, eRecord, On-Base, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel experience is highly recommended; ICD10/CPT coding is desirable. Organized and able to multi-task working in two computer systems.
