Key responsibilities for this role include:

Develop the short- and long-term strategy to enhance the capabilities of the department that are consistent with the mission statement of Internal Audit, the direction of the Head of Global Internal Audit, and the objectives of the organization.

Assess departmental needs, establish priorities, and assist in the creation and management of the annual audit plan and other department activities.

Direct the creation of, or improvements in, internal audit policies, procedures and audit programs.

Prepare or approve audit plans / scope (compliance, financial and operational), provide oversight for audit performance and workpaper preparation, and review resulting observations and audit reports prior to formal release to ensure findings are fact-based, and recommendations are practical and provide value to the organization.

Contribute to ensuring timely preparation of reporting to senior management and the audit committee related to audit activities and established departmental metrics.

Oversee the testing of internal controls over financial reporting for compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act on behalf of management (and leveraged by external auditors).

Train, develop, and mentor managers, seniors and staff, from a professional and technical perspective, to become future leaders within the Finance, Compliance and Information Technology functions.

Develop and manage regional annual budget and periodic forecasts for the internal audit department.

Develop strong relationships with local, regional and global leaders of the Company, while maintaining objectivity.

Recommend and participate in the development of the Company's policies and procedures; may serve on internal audit related committees.

Remain current on, and continuously develop knowledge of, auditing guidance, accounting standards, trending issues and best practices through available literature and attendance at appropriate conferences and seminars. Educate others and lead process enhancement initiatives following attendance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Here are the minimum qualifications for this position:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management.

Minimum of ten (10) years of Big 4 public accounting or a combination of public and Internal Audit (or similar) experience is required. A combination of education and experience can be taken into consideration.

Professional certification required (CPA, CA, CIA, CISA).

Solid knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting principles, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and Auditing Standards.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint similar software related to presentations and analysis.

Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time (both domestically and internationally).

This role has flexibility to be hybrid Canonsburg, PA office/Pittsburgh remote based.

Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
