Robert Half Inside Sales Rep in Canton, Ohio

Description

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to work within our metal fabrication industry located in Canot, Ohio. The role includes supporting our existing customers, exploring opportunities for new products, expanding business within the current customer base, and introducing products to prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner

• Assist the field sales force with customer support

• Maintain regular telephone contact with all key account customers and existing client base, prospects, and leads

• Follow up with customers on quotations

• Prospect and qualify new business opportunities

• Generate price quotations for new, and renewed, sales opportunities following pricing strategies

• Understand the relevant material specifications and customer requirements

• Provide support to purchasing to maintain ideal stock levels for customer long term contracts

• Participate in monthly sales meetings to report on previous month’s efforts

• Some travel may be required for the role.

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Requirements • Proficient in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems for tracking and reporting sales data.

• Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Experience with the 'About Time' mobile resource management software.

• Ability to manage cash activities, including transactions and record keeping.

• Experience in handling customer complaints and providing resolution.

• Familiarity with closing processes in sales transactions.

• Comfortable interacting and communicating with C-Suite executives.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

• Willingness to continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills.

• High level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
