Site Manager, Cape Vincent Correctional Facility Visitors' Center
The Northern New York Visitors' Hospitality Centers, Inc. (NNYVHC) operates under a contract with the New York Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) to provide hospitality services to people visiting inmates at ten correctional facilities in Northern New York. This contract requires that we provide hospitality services for five hours each Saturday and Sunday morning, plus Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
The Site Manager at Cape Vincent Correctional Facility Visitors Center in Cape Vincent provides visitor hospitality services from 7:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Saturday and Sunday plus the four holidays listed above.
The visitors' center is separate from the buildings housing inmates, is located outside the fence and the Site Manager has no contact with correctional facility inmates.
Specifically, the Site Manager at Cape Vincent performs the following duties: -handles registration of visitors; -assists Correctional Officers in answering visitors' questions; -provides continental breakfast for the visitors (adults and children); -keeps a record of visitor statistics; and -helps make the visitors' center a welcoming environment.
The Site Manager will be required to obtain an ID for Cape Vincent CF, which includes finger printing, as well as obtaining a tuberculosis test at the facility or your own health care provider . There is no charge for the ID photo, finger prints, or TB screening.
