The Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) is responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational. Through the proactive monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving of technical incidents and problems, the Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) is able to restore service to clients. Their primary objective is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA). This role focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity. This role focusses across two or more technology domains - Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications and / or Collaboration etc.

This role may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.

MS System Engineer

As an NTT System Engineer you will:

  • Be part and work in synergy with the client's IT teams on their regular activities

  • Improve and perfect your knowledge and expertise in the "Run" phase

  • Work on “Build” projects adjacent to the “Run” day-to-day activities

  • Investigate incidents and issues on our client’s infrastructure

  • Participate in various additional project for NTT’s clients

  • Deliver impeccable service as part of NTT Luxembourg

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

  • Higher degree in IT or Computer Science (or past experience)

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in the field

  • English speaking

  • You demonstrate : planning & time management skills, good verbal & written communication, ability to adapt, analyze problems, think innovatively, customer orientation

Knowledge or experience of IT, in particular, we appreciate if you have knowledge in any of the following:

  • Windows Server Management (Exchange, File Servers, ADFS, etc...)

  • VMware ecosystem

  • Active directory management, DNS, DHCP, GPO…

  • Microsoft O365 ecosystem

  • Backup systems (preferably VEEAM)

  • Monitoring tools experience (preferably Zabbix)

  • Linux Servers Management

  • Storage : vSAN, DELL Unity…

  • Nice to have's : Ansible, Azure technologies, Intunes, Defender, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), any other backup system
