Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Description:

Will be responsible for maintenance within a distribution center for Ross stores. The mechanic II will be responsible for performing PM's on equipment and machinery in the warehouse and then reactive maintenance. Candidates will perform both mechanical and electrical repairs. Repairs could range on any of the following; -conveyors -wire contactors -wire up motors -belts -rollers -drives -chains -belts -pulley's -hydraulics -Pneumatic systems -PLC's RS logix 5000 Allen Bradley (will check inputs and outputs/ looking at LED to diagnose) Control tech on site for heavy PLC items

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-HS Diploma/GED -Ideally 3+ years experience in maintenance from a manufacturing, industrial or DC setting performing PM's and reactive maintenance on equipment and machinery. -Electrical repair and troubleshooting - will allow them to perform duties that the Mechanic I's cannot with the motors, and contactors -PLC knowledge to check inputs and outputs - Troubleshoot motor starters - Analog flag sensors - Must be able to read from Blueprints - CMMS Systems (They use Sprocket) Must be able to work with work order management systems -Mechanical repairs -Computer Savvy - this is important when working through RS logix and the maintenance system. 480/24 Volt - Team orientated and attention to detail

Nice to have -Certification/associates degree from technical school in maintenance or related field. -PLC troubleshooting and ability to work within RS Logix - Leadership Qualities
