We are seeking a self-motivated Sales Account Manager, comfortable in a commission based role, specializing in HVAC that is eager to obtain new client relationships while maintaining and supporting the relationships with current customers and have the ability to solve mechanical issues through proposed solutions. Preparing cost estimates by studying conditions, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel. Providing product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests all play a pivotable role in this opportunity. Responsibilities

  • Prospecting to identify target accounts

  • Cold calling to set up meetings with new accounts

  • Go to meetings with new accounts to create interest and uncover project opportunities for quoting.

  • Keep in touch with existing relationships to ensure project quoting opportunities

  • Must be able to read and understand drawings for projects that need to be quoted

  • Utilize tools and equipment for quoting and bid tracking

  • Communicate and solicit bids from sub-contractors and vendors

  • Generate tentative schedules to determine job durations based on specifications, job conditions and required work

  • Takeoff accurate quantities of ductwork, pipe, etc.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, design professionals, sub-contractors, vendors, and co-workers

  • Win opportunities and meet revenue and margin goals
