Job Title: Master Scheduler

Job Description

The Master Scheduler is responsible for leading the implementation of a standardized planning process, optimizing production, and ensuring supply chain execution to meet customer demand. This role requires collaboration with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Finance to build a balanced and achievable production plan, ensuring 100% on-time customer fulfillment with efficient inventory usage. The Master Scheduler oversees production planning reports and directs daily production schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a master schedule, review expedited requests, and drive daily production schedules while ensuring adherence to planning horizons.

  • Develop and maintain capacity model inputs and outputs based on demonstrated output standards, actuals, and new capacity conditions.

  • Ensure capacity is level-loaded based on available capacity to optimally cover demand, including coordination of new product introductions, end-of-life close-outs, and labor schedules.

  • Develop metrics to measure manufacturing performance to schedules (lead time, schedule attainment, and schedule adherence) and work with Manufacturing to resolve issues promptly.

  • Provide WIP, Manufactured Component, and Finished Goods inventory plans for the site, developing strategies to optimize these plans to support customer needs while minimizing inventory levels.

  • Conduct gap and post-mortem analyses between actuals and forecasts, identifying key drivers for future SIOP demand consensus discussions.

  • Focus on continuous improvement within the scope of responsibilities, developing, improving, and implementing sound materials management practices.

  • Ensure ITAR compliance through secured and coded correspondence and approved communication portals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned, including leading projects and participating in project committees.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain operations, materials management, logistics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of ERP/MRP experience.

  • Minimum of 7+ years of proven Supply Chain and planning experience in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, materials management, production planning, and ERP systems.

  • Experience in aerospace or electronic component manufacturing is desired.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • APICS certification is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $125000.00/yr.

 Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain operations, materials management, logistics or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Master’s Degree preferred.  Minimun of 5 years of ERP/MRP experience  Minimum 7+ years of proven Supply Chain and planning experience in a similar role. Aerospace or Electronic component manufacturing experience desired.

This is a fully onsite position in Carson,CA.
