Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support the production ramp-up of a custom automation line for the high-volume manufacture of medical devices. You will provide technical, engineering, and troubleshooting support to implement a new high-speed, automated medical device assembly line. This is a significant investment in our site and critical to achieving our business goals.
Responsibilities
Support engineering and project management in FAT, installation, and commissioning of the new assembly line.
Provide production support for automation equipment.
Support the development of the process FMEA and control plan for the new assembly process.
Collaborate with product and manufacturing engineering, equipment vendors, maintenance technicians, and operations leadership to troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
Support line performance monitoring and lead practical problem-solving (PPS) projects to remediate systemic issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering or related field required
2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
Hands-on troubleshooting experience with high-speed automation equipment
Demonstrated interest and experience in supporting manufacturing operations, troubleshooting automation equipment, and implementing process improvements
Medical device industry experience (preferred)
High-speed custom automation experience (preferred)
Excellent interpersonal communication, collaborative teamwork, and problem-solving skills (preferred)
Work Environment
You will be working in a large manufacturing facility and will spend most of your time on the production floor working with automation equipment. This role offers significant growth potential and could transition from a contract role to a full-time position, although this is not guaranteed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
