The Opportunity
Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. This role will lead site operations, which includes Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operational Excellence. Must maintain a close partnership with all functional areas both at the site and within division. This role operates in a highly regulated environment with complex design and functionality. This position must be able to handle a high number of complex financial, analytical, and strategic considerations in critical decision making. Ensure compliance with all Abbott Corporate quality, financial, regulatory, purchasing and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies and regulations.
What You’ll Work On
Provide leadership, communication and coaching to employees across all functional areas, cultivating a safe environment of engagement, trust, teamwork, and accountability. Engage with external third-party stakeholders, including Government agencies, law makers, charitable organizations etc.
Build organization to manage day-to-day site operations ensuring performance, quality, cost, schedule, profit, and customer satisfaction targets are achieved with risks identified and mitigated and opportunities exercised.
Attract, develop, and retain a diverse qualified staff through effective training, succession planning strategies and ongoing performance feedback. Drive a culture of engagement and inclusivity throughout the organization through clear communication, collaboration, and recognition.
Manage the financial performance of the site in accordance with the planned budgets and develop strategies for capacity, capital planning and cost improvement.
Ensure compliance with all applicable business policies, laws, and regulations, inclusive of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, and processes. Interface with internal and external regulatory agencies and government officials.
Interact internally and externally with executive-level management to ensure the highest possible quality product and product availability to meet the needs of the business short and long-term.
Devise strategy for site operations, aligned with overall divisional strategy.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum 10 years of relevant career experience
Experience in roles of increasing responsibility within a manufacturing/operations / supply chain environment is required.
Experience in people leadership is required.

The base pay for this position is $188,700.00 – $377,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
