- Responsible for receiving and offloading incoming shipments.
- Using a forklift to move items as needed from trailers or different
locations.
- Scan and move all expired materials and components to the reject
cage.
- QA Function:
- Verify the Sampling Room is clean and update the Cleaning Log
prior to sampling any material or components.
- Inspect condition of incoming trailers/loads to ensure
compliance with transportation and storage requirements.
- Inspect incoming pallets for pests.
- Verify that the amount of pieces, weight per container, and
manufacturing lot numbers match the Packing slip supplied by
vendor.
- Sample all incoming raw materials and packaging components.
- Move and scan released raw material and components from
quarantine to correct shelf location in the warehouse.
- Pull all raw ingredients/components that are needed per batch
record provided by the department.
- Mentor employees when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
