Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This is a maintenance technician role in an aluminum extrusion environment. The individual will be responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance, including preventative maintenance (PMs), reactive maintenance, and any facilities maintenance tasks. The facility operates aluminum extrusion machines, as well as CNCs, brake presses, lasers, and powder coating machines.
Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of plant maintenance, including PMs and reactive maintenance.
Participate in passover meetings to coordinate daily tasks.
Ensure production runs smoothly by performing reactive maintenance on extrusion machines.
Fix and maintain 3-phase 480v motors, servo and AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, extruders, VFDs, and gear boxes.
Conduct basic greasing of bearings and tightening of bolts during PMs.
Operate and troubleshoot PLCs and other control systems.

Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing environment. Expect to work a fair amount of overtime. Initially, you will work 8-10 hour days with the goal of implementing an on-call program. Major PM programs occur twice a year (typically in July and December). The dress code includes jeans and steel-toed boots. Shift options include: 1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm), 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm), and 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
