We are looking for:

A warehouse operator that will manage materials in the warehouse and various bulk storage locations. They will be responsible for following the incoming raw material receipt process to maintain accurate records of merchandise received and ensure quality assurance. The warehouse operator will be responsible for maintaining inventory to ensure accuracy as well as storage locations as per SAP. The warehouse operator will be responsible for interacting with outside vendors to load trucks and complete all required paperwork. They will be responsible for packaging raw materials in the format required per the customer order and properly labeling all packages. They will be

responsible for following all safety and DOT regulations regarding shipping.

We count on you for:

  • Bulk loading of tanker trucks.

  • Loading and unloading of package goods in and out the warehouse.

  • Responsible for reviewing and executing all shipping/receiving requirements and paperwork.

  • Timely convey information to supervisor, co-workers, and other departments within the plant.

  • Material handling for all raw materials into the production area and removal of empty containers from the area.

  • Drumming and testing of finished goods

  • Creating and labeling of finished goods

  • Off-loading of bulk dry materials.

  • Housekeeping - Beforetheend of the shift the sweep all warehouse floor,empty all garbage cans and

  • police the loading dock, bulk loading station and the rail unloading area for trash.

  • Raw material storage- full package goods must be kept their designated storage area as soon as they are received.

  • Assist in inventory control by accurately recording inventory and perform physical counts when Necessary.

  • Unloading of bulk railcars including all paperwork associated with the process.

  • Report all accidents, upset conditions and near misses to the Shift Lead Operator before his shift is over.

  • Provide safety recommendations on a regular basis to theEnvironmental, Health and SafetyManager.

  • Turn over in writing the state warehouse to the following warehouse operator.

You will bring :

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in a warehouse setting a plus

  • Knowledge of DOT, IATA, IMDG shipping requirements a plus

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, and/or chemical plant environment is a plus.

  • Experience with SAP a plus

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to drive a forklift preferred

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions

  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate with varying functional leaders both internally and externally

  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Good written and verbal skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Must have the ability to learn new programs and software as needed

  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and change assignments quickly

  • Must be able to communicate information with others verbally and in written forms

  • Must have basic mathematical skills

  • Basic problem solving skills

  • Organizational skills

  • Quick and well-coordinated in movement of the hands

  • Must read and understand written procedures (SOP's) and/or verbal instruction

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is ($20.50 per hour). Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
