Job Description

Join Danfoss Power Solutions as a Laboratory Technician at our Cerkezkoy, Tekirdağ location. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for preparing test samples, carrying out, and reporting laboratory activities/tests in the best possible way within the shift working system as per established procedures and instructions. This position will report to the Laboratory Manager and work in 3 shifts. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing and reporting tests within the laboratory and aligning activities with other units, including Production, SCM, Quality, Engineering R&D, and others.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Maintain a high level of awareness regarding occupational and environmental safety processes in daily team functions,

  • Ensure compliance with the ISO 17025 Laboratory Management System,

  • Actively participate in Lean improvements such as 5S, Kaizen, etc.,

  • Perform laboratory activities, including taking samples, testing, creating test reports, and ensuring systematic material flows across three shifts,

  • Ensure compatibility with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, and other management systems within the factory.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Preferably an associate degree in Laboratory Management, Chemistry, Machinery, Electricity, or related fields,

  • At least 1 year of experience in polymer or equivalent laboratories,

  • Knowledge of raw material control, semi-product control, benchmarking, and finished product control processes,

  • Effective communication skills,

  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills,

  • Comprehensive understanding of the ISO 17025 Laboratory Management System,

  • Commitment to achieving all tasks in alignment with the laboratory targets.
