CIMA Network Director of Project Management in Chalfont, Pennsylvania

POSITION SUMMARY:

The project management department is responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of every project within our organization. In this capacity, the Director of Project Management will take the helm of our existing project management, project administration, and service coordination teams. Their primary focus will be on providing day-to-day services to our customers.

 

The Director will collaborate with the sales team, our clients, and our internal staff to gain a comprehensive understanding of our clients' specific needs and requirements. They will ensure that our team is equipped to not only meet but exceed all client expectations.

 

Working closely with the leadership team, the Director of Project Management will lead the development of a scalable project management infrastructure. This infrastructure is designed to cater to the growing demand for faster and more efficient services that our clients require.

 

Additionally, the Director will play a vital role in guiding and supporting each team member in their personal development and continuous improvement journey. This will empower our team to deliver the highest quality of service and contribute to the ongoing success of our organization.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute the overall project management strategy for the signage company. Align project management goals with the company's business objectives. Ensure that project management processes are consistent with the organization's long-term vision.

    • Team Leadership:

Oversee and manage a team of project managers, coordinators, and support staff.

Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

    • Program Planning and Execution:

Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, timelines, and budgets for all assigned projects.

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Allocate resources and manage project schedules to ensure timely project completion.

    • Client Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong client relationships.

Communicate project progress, updates, and potential issues to clients in a professional and timely manner.

    • Risk Management:

Proactively identify potential project risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.

Implement effective risk management processes to minimize project disruptions.

Make decisions that lead to successful project outcomes while managing risks.

    • Quality Assurance:

Ensure that projects adhere to high-quality standards, industry regulations, and client specifications.

Conduct regular quality checks and audits to guarantee exceptional results.

    • Forecasting, Budget and Cost Control:

Monitor project budgets and financial performance to ensure projects are completed within approved budgets.

Collaborate with the finance department to provide accurate financial reporting.

Control project costs while maintaining quality and meeting client expectations.

    • Continuous Improvement:

Continuously assess and optimize project management processes and workflows.

Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and quality in project execution.

Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

    • Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and internal departments, to ensure program success.

Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to support project needs.

    • Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project closure reports.

Provide regular reports and updates to company leadership on program status and key performance metrics.

    • Compliance and Regula ion:

Ensure that all projects comply with company & industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.

    • Conflict Resolution:

Address and resolve conflicts or issues within project teams or with clients.

Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution among team members

 

 

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Has a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Project Management Certificate a plus
    • Sign experience a plus
    • Has 5+ years of management experience with a solid understanding of Customer Service, Employee Relations, and Team Building
    • Has financial understanding of Profit and Loss at the project lead level.
    • Experienced with project management related software, experience with smart sheet a plus. Interested in technological innovation and advancement.
    • Can read, grasp & apply contractual information as a part of managing a project management team
    • Has solid negotiation skills with the ability to resolve concerns in a positive manner
    • Has a sound business acumen & understanding of what drives company profits
    • Is proficient with word & excel
    • Effectively communicates with all stakeholders of a project, including employees, clients, and vendors.

       

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that an employee might encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. Typical office conditions: protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Travel is minimal with most contact with customers by phone and correspondence.

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle controls (keyboard, phone); and talk or hear. Occasional standing, walking, stooping is required. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
