For our project in Greece we are looking for a Scaffolding Coordinator.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Supervision and Coordination:

• Oversee scaffold-related construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety, schedule, and cost objectives

• Inspect scaffold holdings for compliance with local and industry standards

• Maintain and implement a scaffold inspection system with weekly checks

Planning and Monitoring:

• Plan work activities, ensuring availability of drawings, tools, equipment, and materials

• Lead and participate in planning sessions (experience with Last Planner tool is an advantage)

• Monitor and report on man-hour productivity weekly

Safety and Compliance:

• Implement and manage safe working conditions, complying with client procedures and checklists for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

• Participate in audits, inspections, and safety observation tours

• Ensure subcontractor compliance with key safe systems of work, including:

• Hazard recognition and risk assessment

• Authorised scaffold access

• Personal Protective Equipment compliance

• Working at heights, rigging, and lifting techniques

• Dropped object prevention and excavation safety

Communication and Training:

• Maintain open communication with Field Engineers, HSE, and QA/QC teams

• Ensure subordinates are trained and knowledgeable about work procedures and specifications

• Act as a technical authority for scaffold design, construction, certification, and training

Reporting and Technical Support:

• Report HSE incidents and assist in investigations

• Provide technical input for work packs

• Liaise with Project Engineers on scaffold and access issues
