The Enterprise Customer Excellence Group (ECEG) brings together customer-focused functions from across the enterprise to provide a holistic approach to critical points of interaction with Wells Fargo customers. The group, which includes the Enterprise Complaints Management Office, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence and Net Promoter System, is responsible for understanding the causes of issues that affect customers, and providing solutions that ensure customers’ needs are understood and supported. The group is also accountable for ensuring regulators’ expectations are met and that team members have the tools and training necessary for success.

The Customer Remediation Center of Excellence (CR COE) develops and implements consistent enterprise standards for remediating commitment-to-customer issues across our consumer lines of business. The organization enables more effective and coordinated monitoring, reporting and stakeholder communications. Enhancing our practices and outcomes for customers is a critical part of building a better Wells Fargo.

We have an immediate need for a skilled Analytic Consultant 2. This Analytic Consultant will play the critical role of documenting the strategy to identify populations of customers who were harmed and in need of remediation.

Specific duties and responsibilities of the role include, but may not be limited to:

  • Analysis of complex/high risk customer remediation issues to understand customer harm for Treasury Management and Deposit Products Group

  • Translating business language to technical requirements, location of data, archives, etc.

  • Querying databases via SQL or SAS to identify populations of harmed customers

  • Develop remediation analytic approaches to ensure accurate data populations

  • Identifying internal and external data, and mining data across multiple business sources

  • Working with data validation teams to ensure analytical accuracy

  • Maintaining necessary processes, controls, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity

  • Profiling data to identify outliers, quality issues, and inaccurate data

  • Developing in-depth knowledge and expertise regarding Treasury Management & Deposit Product Group Data

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of SQL or SAS experience

  • 2+ years of experience leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners

  • 4+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 2+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to translate and present complex technical data across technical and non-technical groups

  • Experience developing well-defined plans for problem resolution from preliminary or ambiguous information

  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
