Wells Fargo is seeking an Auto Data Product Senior Manager to support our Product, Analytics, and Digital Innovation (PADI) team as part of Consumer Lending. Wells Fargo's Consumer Lending line of business includes Home Lending, Auto, Credit Cards, Retail & Merchant Services, Personal Lending, Consumer Lending Control, and Consumer Lending Shared Services. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams of individual contributors or managers in roles with moderate complexity and risk executing against data product strategy and roadmaps to drive enablement and capabilities across platforms and utilities; engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with or affected by its outcomes

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for data product modernization and data enablement solutions that impact multiple data domains and platforms, ensuring compliance with data governance and standards

  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of data product team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables that drive the enablement of data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting; interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of data product responsibility

  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior managers, business, risk partners, and technical professionals within Technology and Enterprise Data Management

  • Provide recommendations on best practices, methods, and tools to support and design innovative data products enabling data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting

  • Act as a catalyst to socialize capabilities, features, use case studies, and other relevant artifacts to advance the value of data enablement and productization across the enterprise

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in aligned department or business group

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

  • Foster a strong agile discipline that inspires teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics

  • Build frameworks for complex decision making that enable effective debate and accelerate getting to the right answer

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Business Transformation, Analytics, Reporting, Management Consulting, Project Management, Strategic Planning, or Technology

  • Proven experience collaborating with and across Agile teams to build, design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies

  • Experience establishing product roadmaps and strategies, while managing risk and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance

  • Change Delivery experience in the Auto industry

  • Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives

  • Stakeholder management experience negotiating scope, managing timelines across multiple stakeholders in Operations, Process, Product, Technology, Compliance / Audit

  • Extensive prioritization and resource alignment leveraging the right resource in the Data Analytics / Engineering / Governance team for execution

  • Ability to positively influence, motivate, lead and partner with diverse teams in a shift based, decentralized, and geographically dispersed environment

  • Technical data expertise to help drive technology and business teams towards an approved data strategy

  • Experience developing conformed data strategies collaborating with analytics community to build out business definitions and execution

  • Experience with open-source languages and cloud infrastructures, leading transformation to Realtime streaming data architectures

  • Experience executing against large enterprise data initiatives

  • Experience using standard BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc)

  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira

  • Experience in SQL, database, data warehouse, joins, data analysis, Indexing

  • Knowledge and understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts

  • Ability to synthesize multi-dimensional, complex, and interrelated concepts into clear, consumable, implications, actions, and decisions

  • Demonstrated track record of effective influencing and collaboration at all levels

  • Exceptional problem solving abilities

  • Exceptional ability to translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate results

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
