NOW HIRING - ENTRY LEVEL MAINTENANCE TECHS

PAY: $20-$27/hr

Shift: 1st Shift - Mon-Friday

Description:

This role is responsible for maintaining production machines from standard PMs (Preventative Maintenance) to troubleshooting issues as they arise. Maintain a controlled clean, and organized maintenance area. Support the production floor daily and maintain tooling and repairs as needed. Maintain the building and facility to perform repairs within reason.

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

• Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

• Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance

• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

• Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

• Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.

• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Required!!!!

o Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

o Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.

o Strong organizational skills and basic math skills.

o Understanding of Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems.

Preferred!!!!

o Hands on maintenance experience.

o Lean manufacturing and continual process improvement experience.

o Converting experience strongly desired.

o Knowledge of Tooling, Equipment, Maintenance, Technical Understanding, Technical Zeal, Deals with Uncertainty, Basic Safety, Power Tools, Attention to Detail, Flexibility, Supervision, Job Knowledge, Productivity
