Honeywell Planning Manager in Chandler, Arizona

Planning Manager

Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Planning Manager for our Chandler, AZ location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hire and develop resources for the planning team; identify succession candidates and maintain succession plans for each role within the team

  • Perform 1:1 reviews and formal performance evaluations; address performance issues as needed

  • Develop and continuously improve planning processes

  • Create Master Production Schedule for the Site/Network

  • Create and review the site Rough Cut Capacity Plans (Cell, Product Line, etc)

  • Actively resolve issues with demand, capacity constraints, and material availability

  • Support planning in maintaining accurate planning parameters / master data

  • Close involvement in NPI and Product Lifecycle transitions

  • Collaborate with planners to resolve issues and address escalations

  • Review of the Capacity and Supply plans in program and SIOP meetings

  • Own Key Process Indicators (KPIs) - OTTR, Milestone Achievement, Site Inventory, Clear to Build, and MPS metrics

  • Adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Security procedures

  • Engage in Honeywell Operating System; drive a continuous improvement culture and deployment of Lean Six Sigma tools/techniques

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years experience in Supply Planning, Operations Planning/Scheduling, Materials Management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional area

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications

  • SAP knowledge and use (or similar MRP/ERP system experience)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal & written communication skills

  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

  • Six Sigma Lean Expert or Green Belt certified

  • SIOP knowledge

  • APICS certification

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate
