Job Description

A week in the life of anIT Service Desk Technicianat the Medical Enterprise Test Innovation Center (METIC) supporting multiple customers:
Manage the intake and processing of service desk tickets
Assist end users with technical issues and service requests
Contribute to the ongoing development of customer-facing documentation
Support the development of Service Management reports
Actively participate or initiate process improvement and automation efforts.
Work closely with team members -- on site and remote -- to ensure proper ticketing discipline
Job Requirements
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
1- 3 years of IT service desk experience.
Security+ certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
Ability to present professionally to Government facility's visitors
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter with high initiative and resourcefulness.
Commitment to following ticketing and facility procedures
Commitment to supporting customers
Preferred Qualifications:
Motivation to learn new systems and techniques.
Experience with Microsoft Windows account management and troubleshooting.
Experience with basic networking concepts, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience working in a cloud environment including virtual access and tools.
Familiar with ITIL standards and processes.
Familiar with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Experience using ITSM ticketing systems.
Proficiency with MS Office tools.
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $70,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
