Title and Summary

Manager, Area Marketing

• Innovative, result-oriented, customer-centric talent, responsible for generating, managing and execute high impact sponsorship programs to accelerate the business growth. In this role, you will drive internal thinking around our card acquisition/spending strategy through issuer marketing by utilizing global sponsorship assets. This position will leverage your strong understanding of digital media, ecommerce and issuer marketing to structure forward-thinking sponsorship strategy.

• The role will be also responsible to define the digital/social marketing strategy in China. Understand the digital/social trends and consumer insights, willing to deep dive new digital/social technologies that can help optimize the digital/social platform, to drive bigger impact of the brand and enable more business opportunities.

Role

• Co lead cross-function team, include account team, merchant marketing, issuer marketing, product, legal, and finance and senior management to implement the marketing (sponsorship and digital/social) program.

• Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage sponsorship programs in china. To develop issuer-specific strategy with customized co-marketing programs and conduct go to market plans for both sponsorship program. Program could be integrated with different mechanisms, include digital/social campaign or offline events etc.

• The role will be responsible to define the digital and social marketing strategy, develop innovative co-marketing strategies in social area in close cooperation with the issuer/merchant partners.

• Closely collaboration with regional digital team to better structure the digital/social assets. Understand and discuss technical possibilities, deep dive on new digital/social ideas with agencies to drive the brand digital/social innovation on internet.

• Develop and execute digital/social marketing campaigns to drive branding awareness and business. It’s all about web, SEM/SEO, marketing database, social media, identify trends and insights, build strategies, implement, track and optimize digital/social programs, assess against (ROIs and KPIs).

• Ability to think strategically, innovative, and creatively using business judgment skill.

• Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.

• Ability to make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proven experience working on complex, international, time critical projects.

• A unique combination of an excellent attention to detail, and ability to see the big picture and to be comfortable with a level of ambiguity.

• Strong ability to lead and motivate the agency /vendor to deliver top quality result.

• Ability of event management.
