About The Role:

As a CBRE Business Intelligence Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting advanced research, data mining, reporting and interpretation of company performance metrics.

This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function. They are responsible for reviewing data that supports improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop dashboards and reports using aggregate data from various sources to assist in creating a complete evaluation, improvement, or recommendation.

  • Drive data quality standards within company to enable future AI implementation.

  • Find opportunities for large improvements among the clients and company, including automation opportunities for operational efficiency.

  • Act as a SME for key systems, databases, and processes to support team functions.

  • Review the accuracy of data provided and respond to advanced requests from management and vendors.

  • Work with various collaborators and information technology groups to facilitate successful technology project implementations.

  • Review the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values

  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • Explain sophisticated information to others in straightforward situations.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • An innovative mindset to improve daily functions

  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Ability to analyze sophisticated data sets to deliver actionable insights for decision-making.

  • Experience with query and report generation tools.

  • Proficiency in developing dashboards and reports with Tableau or Power BI.

  • Experience with database systems and identifying or creating data table relationships

  • Self-service/web-based application experience (Smartsheet) preferred.

  • Experience developing business solutions through Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, etc.) is preferred.

  • Alteryx, SQL, Python, R, etc. experience is a plus.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Business Intelligence Sr Analyst position is $75,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $100,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
