Wells Fargo Lead Finance Analyst in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst to join the WIM Trust Services and Private Wealth Portfolio Management Finance team. This role will be responsible for providing strategic financial support for the Trust Services business. Trust Services provides a comprehensive suite of trust, estate, and philanthropic/nonprofit solutions to help high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients grow, make an impact, and transition their wealth.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead financial support for Trust Services business and provide direction to other supporting team members.

  • Provide input to and help drive strategic initiatives to enhance business performance, determine financial impact under various scenarios.

  • Develop and produce recurring and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to provide financial insights on business financial performance and drivers, provide advice and technical expertise to support decision making.

  • Implement cohesive dashboard strategy and convert reporting to dashboards where appropriate to encourage the business and finance team to self-serve and enhance data availability.

  • Review business financial performance and complete monthly forecasts/annual budget.

  • Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning.

  • Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance.

  • Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

  • Enhance process and controls to mitigate operational risks.

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting or equivalent.

  • Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment.

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of financial analysis and forecasting methods/processes.

  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio) skills

  • Advanced Essbase and SmartView experience.

  • Experience with PowerBI.

  • Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership.

  • Project management and supervisory experience.
