Direct Hire Maintenance Mechanic opportunities are open with a large manu f acturing company located in Charlotte, NC.
*This is a steel mill facility so qualified candidates must be open to working in that environment.*
Hours will be 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday..
Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for the following maintenance repairs:
Troubleshooting gearboxes, conveyor systems, rollers, barring, pumps, and mixing equipment
Diagnosing and maintaining the furnace and accessory equipment for forging the metal
Minor electrical troubleshooting including diagnosing faults with a multimeter, reading a schematic, and hooking up motors
Minor fabrication of equipment including tack welding of small parts and minor machining
Following all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe and productive environment
Pay will range from $30-$37/hr based on experience. There is unlimited overtime available (x1.5 for 40+ hours and x1.5 for Sundays/holidays) and weekly bonuses are offered based on attendance/hours weeks.
