Insight Global Sr Nuclear Project Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Nuclear Project Manager for one of our large energy companies. This role encompasses all phases of the project plan, including estimation, submitting funding requests, developing and maintaining project plan documents, meeting with stakeholders, delivering stakeholder updates, and tracking project status through implementation. The individual must be capable of working independently and maintaining unescorted access to the nuclear facility. The role also involves monitoring 5 projects, preparing for the next phase of the project, and working with the Project Controls team. Nuclear experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

 Oversee all phases of the project plan from initiation to completion.

 Estimate project costs and submit funding requests.

 Develop and maintain comprehensive project plan documents.

 Engage with stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.

 Track and report on project status throughout the implementation phase.

 Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.

 Monitor 5 projects concurrently.

 Prepare for the next phase of the project.

 Collaborate with the Project Controls team.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years project management experience.

 Bachelors degree in project management, Engineering, or a related field.

 Expertise in project management principles.

 Nuclear experience.

 Utilities background, nuclear industry preferred. Masters degree in business (MBA), project management, or equivalent.

 Utility technical certifications/training.

 PMP or CAPM Certification.

 CMII/Construction Certifications.

 Professional Engineer License. null
