A great opportunity awaits a skilled commercial producer at Sinclair Broadcast Group of Chattanooga, home to WTVC NewsChannel 9, FOX Chattanooga and The CW Chattanooga. We are looking for a Creative Services Production Supervisor to write, shoot and edit commercials. Other opportunities with the position include helping manage some production aspects of lifestyle shows, and live production at station events and some sporting events. The position is part of the Creative Services Department. As a member of the CSD, you’ll get to cross train in other department functions outside production, participate as needed in station events, and play a role in live sports productions from time to time.
The ideal candidate can write, shoot and edit, has good creative judgment, and the ability to work both independently and with others. A positive attitude and strong organizational skills are also things we like. We see every day as a chance to have some fun, do great creative work and have a positive impact in our community.
Some skills you’ll need for the job:
Degree preferred
Experience in commercial and broadcast production experience is required.
Be fluent at Adobe Premiere Pro, and have a good working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop
Be able to write, shoot, and edit effective and compelling content, particularly commercials
Be able to build strong working relationships with clients and co-workers
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats
Have some working knowledge of producing digital content for multiple platforms, including social media
Demonstrate working knowledge of cameras (Sony, Black Magic, Canon DSLR)
Demonstrate a working knowledge of lighting techniques
Be able to manage multiple projects at once
Have and maintain a valid license and good driving record
