Valnet Inc. is looking for writers to cover our EPL news for the website GIVEMESPORT.COM .

GIVEMESPORT is one of the world’s largest independent sports media publishers. It covers news, features, and interviews across a broad range of sports, from football (https://www.givemesport.com/football/) and MMA (https://www.givemesport.com/tag/ufc/) to the NFL (https://www.givemesport.com/tag/nfl/) and NBA (https://www.givemesport.com/tag/nba/) , catering its content to a global audience of more than 30 million fans each and every month.

We pride ourselves on delivering not just the scores, but the stories behind them. Our team of dedicated writers and contributors is committed to providing insightful commentary, thought-provoking analysis, and in-depth features that go beyond the surface of the game. Whether you're a die-hard fan or a casual observer, we cater to all levels of sports interest, making sure there's something for everyone.

Expectations:

  • Write approximately 40 news articles per week and meet assigned deadlines

  • Generate and pitch new ideas/topics for articles

  • Communicate and coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback

  • Stay up to date on the latest EPL news including stats, matches, injuries, etc.

  • Input work into our in-house CMS following our style and formatting guidelines

  • Find and format images according to our guidelines

  • Optimise content to ensure best performance on Google and Social Media

    What we're looking for:

  • Must reside UK

  • Available to work 5 days per week (including weekends)

  • In-depth knowledge and deep passion for the EPL

  • Excellent writing and proof-reading skills 

  • Previous experience writing EPL news for a sports publication 

  • Previous experience working with a CMS

  • Willingness to improve and implement feedback
