The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dell PowerFlex SME to join our team. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Dell PowerFlex systems, including architecture, deployment, management, and troubleshooting. This role involves working closely with our IT and operations teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our PowerFlex infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Architecture :

  • Develop and maintain the architecture for Dell PowerFlex environments.

  • Provide strategic input on system design and integration.

  • Develop and maintain the architecture for VMware vSAN environments.

  • Provide strategic guidance on system design and integration for VMware solutions.

  • Deployment and Configuration :

  • Lead the deployment and configuration of Dell PowerFlex systems.

  • Lead the deployment and configuration of VMware vSAN clusters.

  • Develop and document best practices for deployment and configuration.

  • Management and Maintenance :

  • Monitor and manage PowerFlex systems to ensure optimal performance.

  • Perform regular maintenance, updates, and patches.

  • Troubleshooting and Support :

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex issues related to PowerFlex.

  • Collaborate with Dell support and other vendors to resolve issues.

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex issues within the VMware environment.

  • Collaborate with VMware support and other vendors to resolve technical issues.

  • Training and Documentation :

  • Create and deliver training for internal teams on PowerFlex systems.

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of systems and procedures.

  • Project Management :

  • Lead and participate in projects related to PowerFlex implementation and upgrades.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Who You Are

  • Education :

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field..

  • Experience :

  • Total 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Dell PowerFlex (formerly VxFlex).

  • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing PowerFlex systems.

  • Technical Skills :

  • In-depth knowledge of Dell PowerFlex architecture and components.

  • Experience with software-defined storage (SDS) and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI).

  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware with VSAN, Hyper-Vwith Storage space direct , etc.

  • Strong understanding of networking, storage, and compute infrastructure.

  • Soft Skills :

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications:

  • Relevant Dell EMC certifications (e.g., Dell EMC Proven Professional) are highly desirable.

  • Other IT certifications (e.g., VMware, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
