Interstate Fleet Service is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic. We work in a 12 bay Shop heated and insulated with no A/C. Only a small percentage of our jobs are customer drive-up one-off jobs. You get to know the equipment youre working on and responsible for.
Traditionally speaking if you have an inquisitive mind and like to see success due to the effort of your handy work, we want you to apply. Additionally, if you are more than inquisitive and hands on, we need you as well. A lot of todays trucks come in with warning lamps on (Engine, ABS, transmission, etc...) so we have to be able to first identify the truck system giving the error and then to troubleshoot it from there. Were looking for technicians experienced in computer diagnostics and electrical repair in order to keep up with the demand of today's fleets.
