Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Controller, Cash Management and Financial Applications, the Assistant Controller, Cash Management analyzes and evaluates University business processes, controls, systems, and compliance activities. Responsible for the University’s eCommerce platform and integrations, and provides direction and guidance in all operational aspects related to credit card merchant services and PCI-DSS compliance for the University. Oversees University procedures for banking, check and cash deposits, wires, and supports timely and accurate banking management procedures. Manages operational tasks related to financial system reporting, system upgrades, tax and compliance requirements, and performs detailed analysis of financial operations and activities.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $100,950 to $126,200; salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is required; Master’s Degree in Business Administration, preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible accounting or business systems analysis experience, including experience with non-profit institutional accounting; or public accounting firm.

  • Experience using PeopleSoft or other financial accounting system, preferred.

  • Experience with Banking or Ecommerce software, preferred.

  • Strong statistical, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to consolidate complex data into concise management reports.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, manage, and meet deadlines.

  • Advanced experience and proficiency with computing and related software applications such as ERP systems, advanced Excel and banking systems.
