JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for the direction, implementation, and management of the Master Data Management strategy for the enterprise. The incumbent will lead a team of MDM professionals and collaborate cross-functionally with many business and IT functions to ensure accuracy and integrity of master data through enterprise systems and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor the MDM team, providing guidance on best practices, methodologies, and standards.

  • Implement the enterprise MDM strategy, ensuring alignment to overall data governance policies and business goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their data requirements and contribute to the development of data governance policies.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of MDM solutions with systems and applications.

  • Lead efforts to identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of MDM tools and platforms.

  • Develop and implement data quality metrics and monitoring processes.

  • Communicate MDM strategies, policies, and initiatives to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

  • Manage MDM projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Collaborate with project teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables for MDM initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • A bachelor's degree.

  • 5+ years of experience in master data management, data governance, or related discipline.

  • Proven experience working with technical and functional team members.

  • In-depth knowledge of MDM concepts, tools, and best practices.

  • In-depth experience with PL/SQL to accomplish complex data transformations

  • Experience in implementing and managing MDM solutions in a corporate environment.

  • Clear and organized writer, communicator, and presenter to varying levels of an organization.

  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proven project definition and management capabilities.

  • Tested problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.

  • A strong pattern of initiative.

  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

  • Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Preferred:

  • Certification in MDM or related field.

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Master Data

LOCATION:

Austin, MN OR Willmar, MN Preferred. We are also open to candidates requiring a flexible work arrangement in the following states: Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois. This role will require occasional travel to our headquarters in Austin, MN (averaging one time per month.)
