Armed candidates must posses the 40 hour Firearms training certification and a valid FOID (Firearm Owners Identification Card); Must possess a current PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card); Social Security Card; Must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent; Must possess a valid State of Illinois drivers license or State ID; Must have at least 3 years of security experience in contract or proprietary security and / or Military or Law Enforcement within the past five years; Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years of age; Must be fluent in English, Spanish, or Mandarin (Chinese) language with the ability to read and understand printed regulations, written orders and instructions.
