The volume of our clients\' Data Center construction projects are
booming and increasing over the next twelve months. We are seeking
experienced Construction Safety Advisors to join our Antea Group
Community. As a Construction Safety Advisor, you will have the
opportunity to use your practical experience to interpret and apply H&S
regulatory requirements to Data Center contractors.

- Virginia (Manassas/Northern VA)
The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of hands-on H&S
experience in data center construction and be proficient in the
management of high-risk activities including electrical safety, confined
space, fall protection, and material handling. Experience evaluating and
managing data center sub-contractors safety performance is required. The
candidate must also work well in collaborative environments, have strong
verbal and written communication skills, be able to work independently,
be detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic.
Typical job assignments may include but are not limited to:
- Representing the Data Center owner during Data Center construction
and renovation.
- Developing, writing, and implementing H&S programs and procedures
for data center construction.
- Interfacing with data center employees and contractors to ensure
safe processes are being followed and full implementation of company
procedures.
- Conducting IH monitoring (air sampling and noise monitoring).
- Conducting health and safety auditing; requires an understanding of
federal OSHA and EPA regulations and how they are applied to data
center construction.
- Conducting assessments of potential health and safety risks of
construction activities.
- Developing compliance recommendations based on regulatory
understanding and interpretation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or
related field.
- The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of H&S experience in a data
center environment.
- Must have a deep understanding of OSHA regulations and their
applicability.
- Must have working knowledge of and ability to implement electrical
safety procedures with a deep understanding of NFPA 70e and the
control of hazardous energy sources.
- Familiarity with NFPA, DOT, EPA, and health & safety regulations.
- Additional safety training such as OSHA 10 or 30-hour for
Construction or General Industry, 24-hour or 40-hour HAZWOPER is a
plus.
- ASP, CSP, CIH, or ARM certification.
- Must have strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now
or in the future.
- Potential employees must be able to satisfactorily complete a
background check, pre-employment drug screening (as permitted by
law), and baseline physical (safety sensitive roles). They must also
have a valid driver\'s license and good driving record.
