Job Description:

McDonald’s is on an exciting journey to transform our enterprise data, analytics, and AI function and turn our data into a winning advantage for the system. We are seeking Business Core Team Leader to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business stakeholders and the data, analytics, and AI teams. You will serve as the primary liaison, representing the voice of the business within our data, analytics, and AI transformation ensuring our future state organization design aligns with strategic business objectives. This individual will leverage strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills to drive alignment across our markets and functions and act as an SME across transformation workstreams.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise and serve as the voice of business across the DAA program to ensure the needs of markets and functions are recognized throughout each step of the process.

  • Collaborate with functional and market stakeholders across the business to understand needs and opportunities for implementing new capabilities and ways of working.

  • Work closely with the DAA transformation program team to help shape process and governance strategy, organization design, and wave deployment planning.

  • Lead market enablement planning activities and engage with market stakeholders to understand current processes and plan the implementation of new DAA capabilities.

  • Utilize knowledge of McD processes, systems, and practices to advise and shape the future enterprise DAA Business Hub and Spokes.

  • Lead and manage the DAA business core team to drive business alignment and market enablement activities.

  • Influence the definition of the functional strategy of a corporate function and execute the strategy to drive the operational direction of a sub-function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related discipline is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

  • 10+ years of business experience in data and analytics, business intelligence, data management, or related fields.

  • 5+ years in a management role with demonstrated experience leading and shaping transformation initiatives by understanding functional and market/geographical area needs.

  • Strong understanding of business processes, operations, and strategic planning.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving business impact through data-driven initiatives.

  • Experience working in cross-functional, global teams and managing complex projects or programs.
