Job Description
This person will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of IT program strategy and project delivery for the businesses data engineering, CRM technology, cloud infrastructure, and business intelligence initiatives. This role requires a strategic leader who can effectively manage complex technical projects from a high level to ensure project delivery success against timelines and ensure program governance and standards to improve overall project health as related to modernization efforts. They will oversee a small, specialized team of Project Managers aligned to each core technical function of this team.
This role is hybrid onsite 2 days per week in Chicago, IL.

Skills and Requirements
10 years of experience in IT technical project management, with recent experience in leadership/managing a team of project resources.
Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry with a strong understanding of financial regulatory requirements, audits, compliance, etc., relevant to technology initiatives.
Extensive experience in technical project management, overseeing the entire lifecycle of technical projects from initiation to delivery.
Preferred experience supporting modernization projects across data engineering/warehousing, software engineering, CRM technology/Salesforce, cloud infrastructure/Azure API gateways, business intelligence.
Project scope/sizing around $1-5MM+.
Experience identifying and mitigating technical risks that could impact project success.
Strong understanding of tech initiative audits, collecting and providing artifacts to auditors within tight timeframes.
