The University of Chicago\'s Department of Radiology is searching for
full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will have
responsibilities in adult and pediatric neuroradiology including brain,
head and neck, and spine as well as have supervisory roles in other
minor procedures. Participation in a variety of multidisciplinary
conferences is expected. Other duties will include teaching and
supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Appointees
will have access to a full complement of advanced imaging procedures.
Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe
benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
The University of Chicago Medicine is a Level 1 Adult and Pediatric
Trauma Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Care Center, and a referral center
for numerous neurologic and otolaryngologic disorders.
Faculty members have dedicated academic time to develop research
interests in collaboration with faculty in the Department\'s strong
basic science group as well as other clinical and basic science faculty
in departments across the Biological Sciences Division and with faculty
in other Divisions, Schools, and Institutes at the University of

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a
medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical
licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible in
Radiology, and 4) have completed a fellowship in neuroradiology or
equivalent.
