Manages the monthly and quarterly financial scorecard process, including
distribution of reports, for the Enterprise. Manages the planning,
organizing and directing of the Enterprise\'s annual financial plans and
policies. Manages and prepares financial analyses for various audiences
within the Enterprise.
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
- Participates in 5 year planning process, including creating
scenarios, building income and balance sheets and creating reports
for senior management and the Parent.
- Leads the Enterprise Scorecard reporting and distribution process,
including both Consolidated and Expanded scorecard reports,
- Manages and performs variance revenue and expense analyses,
including employee expenses and benefits, product costing and other
related measures for the Enterprise.
- Collaboration and communication with executives on financial
progress and forecasting, operational updates and scorecard
development.
- Forecasts financial results on a monthly, quarterly and annual
basis, presenting both generally accepted accounting principles
(GAAP) and statutory accounting principles (SAP),
- Develops and documents new or changed policies and procedures to
provide better financial management, to maximize efficiency and
improve internal control.
- Development, analysis and interpretation of statistical and
accounting information in order to identify and/or analyze operating
results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and
other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating
effectiveness.
- Supports system installations, conversions and upgrades, including
report design, development and testing.
- May support both internal and external audits.

DIRECTION EXERCISED:
Directly supervises non-exempt staff in accordance with company policies
and applicable Federal and State Laws. Responsibilities include but are
not limited to effectively interviewing, hiring, terminating, and
training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising
performance; rewarding and counseling employees; addressing complaints
and resolving problems; supporting and encouraging the engagement
process.

EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or related field. Progress towards or
completion of industry recognized professional designations; i.e., CPA
preferred.. Certification or progress toward certification is highly
preferred and encouraged.
EXPERIENCE:
Seven to ten years of relevant experience which provide the necessary
skills, knowledge and abilities. Two years of prior supervisory or
similar experience. Experience with corporate budgeting, forecasting and
planning processes required. Health care industry finance or accounting
experience preferred.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:
Strong knowledge of, and the ability to accurately apply, statutory and
generally accepted accounting principles
Knowledge of financial systems, process flows and internal controls.
Knowledge of activities, practices and terminology for healthcare
companies.
Ability to organize, analyze and interpret financial and management data
to solve management and business problems.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis of various problem situations and
address them or refer them for appropriate decision making.
Ability to effectively communicate accounting and finance processes,
results and d cisions, either through written or oral means

PAY RANGE
Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal
equity, candidate\'s skills and professional experience, geographic
location, market and other potential factors. It is not standard
practice for an offer to be at or near the top of the range, and
therefore a reasonable estimate for this role is between \$104,400 and
\$174,900
