Veralto Proposal Response Specialist in Chicago, Illinois

The Esko Proposal Response Specialist will work with and align closely with the Senior Director of Sales Enablement to achieve the following:

  • RFx & Proposal Management

  • Lead the end-to-end RFx response process, from understanding requirements to submission of the final proposal

  • Coordinate with various departments, such as sales, IT, and technical teams, to gather necessary information for the bid

  • Review RFx documents to ensure all requirements, especially security-related ones, are met in the proposal

  • Develop a proposal schedule and assign responsibilities to relevant team members

  • Write, edit, and proofread proposal content to ensure clarity, coherence, and persuasive messaging

  • Ensure that the proposal reflects the company's value proposition and differentiators

  • URS (User Requirements Specification) Responses

  • Review and coordinate URS (technical and functional specifications) received from potential clients or partners

  • Collaborate with the Product Management and R&D teams to ensure accurate and timely responses to address the functional needs (current and roadmap)

  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry standards, and best practices

  • Security / Privacy Questionnaires

  • Review and coordinate security and privacy questionnaires from existing customers, potential clients, or 3rd party partners

  • Collaborate with the IT, Security, Privacy, Quality, Compliance, R&D, CloudOps, HR, and Legal teams to provide accurate and up-to-date information

  • Stay updated on industry security standards and best practices

  • Customer Risk Assessments

  • Review and coordinate vendor and risk assessments from existing customers, potential clients, or 3rd party partners

  • Collaborate with the responsible teams (IT, Security, Privacy, Quality, Compliance, R&D, and CloudOps) to ensure accurate and up-to-date responses are provided to meet deadlines

  • Library Management

  • Maintain a repository of responses, supporting documents, templates, and related materials for future reference and reuse

  • Ensure library content is fresh, accurate, and regularly updated by the various teams and content owners

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze past bids, questionnaires, and assessments to identify areas of improvement

  • Stay updated on industry trends, especially cybersecurity, ensuring company standards are always met

Are you qualified? The ideal candidate should have the following credentials and skills:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field

  • Have experience in bid management, security assessments, or a similar role

  • Know industry security standards and best practices

  • Have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Have attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Have a familiarity with Esko’s target markets and an understanding of Esko’s products or services

  • Have a technical mind and passion for emerging technologies and the ability to stay on top of industry changes and trends

  • Be flexible, adaptable, and work well under pressure

  • Be an enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys problem-solving

  • Be quick to learn new skills and technologies – committed to ongoing development
