Pitch products and services to hedge funds and managed account
investors, with an awareness of the specific needs and appropriate
solutions for each client; Originate, retain, and expand institutional
business by appropriately pairing Prime products and services with
target customer base provided by management; Analyze and assess
requirements of prospective clients in terms of execution and clearing
solutions, settlement and custody, financing, risk management and
reporting; Participate in industry events related to hedge funds,
professional trading firms, and related alternative investments
conferences on an ad-hoc basis; Introduce and refer potential clients to
other Business Line of the bank when business cannot be accommodated or
is outside of the scope of Prime Brokerage business so as to increase
synergies and cross-selling opportunities; Participate in client pitches
across the prime services division, leveraging knowledge of the APAC
region; Work with support teams to develop new products requested by
existing clients; and Closely follow regulatory changes and implications
in the Alternative Investment Industry.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance,
Economics, Business Management, Business Administration, Financial
Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience
as a Salesperson, Sales Director or any occupation/position/job title
involving Hedge Fund strategies and structures.
Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional
experience at a global financial institution pitching Prime Brokerage
products; 5 years of professional experience pitching CTA funds; 5 years
of professional experience covering existing Prime Brokerage
relationships and originating new business from existing clients; 5
years of professional experience collaborating with support functions
(Risk, Operations, Legal) to onboard and support new business; 5 years
of professional experience analyzing clients Return on Equity; and 5
years of professional experience identifying potential customers and the
means of developing new business.
