The University of Chicago\'s Department of Anesthesia & Critical Care
seeks 80% effort faculty members at any rank. We especially seek those
with fellowship training or special interest in cardiac, trauma, neuro,
and regional anesthesia. Other duties will include teaching and
supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic
rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits)
are dependent upon qualifications.
Appointees will join a vibrant and distinguished community of faculty,
colleagues, and learners at UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences
Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, The University of Chicago,
and its affiliates. A tradition of excellence in patient care, basic,

Before the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a
medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical
licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be a board-certified or
board-eligible anesthesiologist.
