Job Description Summary

As the People Experience Leader, supporting GE Healthcare’s US based People Leaders and employees, you will play a critical role supporting our purpose and our greatest asset, our people. You will provide the expertise and leadership to enable our HR Managers to drive the right people experiences to our People Leaders to enable them to deliver the best outcomes for GE Healthcare customers. In this role you will lead a team of HR Managers that are the first point of contact for our US based People Leaders across multiple GE Healthcare functions/business units.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching and development to the team of HR Managers. Motivate, inspire, coach, develop and deploy HR Manager resources.

  • Design, deliver and constantly improve standard work across the key stages of People Leader management of employee lifecycle processes with specific focus on performance management, development, engagement, career progression, retention, separation, assimilation, etc.

  • In partnership with Talent Management, Learning & Development and HR Business Partners, develop and drive a strategy to enable our People Leaders to be more successful in leading their teams.

  • Assess the impact of the current HR policies and procedures on our people experiences and drive the changes to balance the need for adherence to compliance/set the right governance with fitting the needs of our people.

  • Own employee life cycle management metrics for the region. In partnership with Talent Analytics work with data to derive actionable insights from the voice of our People Leaders and drive an overall data-driven approach to employee experience and its continuous evolution. (Immigration, PIPs, Omsbuds).

  • Lead and execute HR related projects in partnership with HR Business Partners and People Leaders, to support organizational and individual development.

  • Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 10 years professional work experience in the Human Resources function with prior experience in business partnering, client HR management, people leadership and running HR processes in medium/large sized organizations

  • Significant experience in leading business teams and/or coaching the senior leaders; approachable with strong ability to be able to connect with employees at all levels

  • Experience working in a HR Shared Services Model

  • Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to find solutions and drive business outcomes

  • Experience through managing different business cycles, strong business acumen/understanding of industry and customer trends

  • Proven track record of creating a transformation change management strategy, converted into actions, and followed through with rigorous execution

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess situations make judgments based on practice or previous experience, personal curiosity for continuous learning

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, high performance work environment and team- oriented culture, handling multiple issues and/or projects simultaneously and executing to completion

  • Passion for innovative business and/or HR practices and continuous process improvement. Prior experience in an organization with strong Lean culture is desirable
