machine a wide variety of parts, with supervision as required performing
operations such as (milling, boring, facing, slotting, drilling,
reaming, tapping, turning, and other standard machining operations).
Extensive travel is required domestically; some international travel may
be required. Job Responsibilities Select all types of cutting tools
suitable for working on all kinds of material and on all types of cuts;
properly grind cutting tools. Set part to be machined in proper position
using suitable lifting equipment; select and use suitable holding
devices or method. Rough and finish machine a wide variety of
complicated work. Use precision measuring instruments such as verniers,
micrometers, precision gage blocks, dial indicators, calipers, and any
other instruments required to maintain dimensions and close tolerances.
Perform duties without assistance except on unusual or difficult jobs
only Consistently produce work of proper quality and of properly
required quantity. Perform these duties within EthosEnergy as well as
customers\' facilities. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Frequently required to push, pull and lift up to 75 lbs Support
metalworking projects from planning and fabrication through assembly,
inspection, and testing, using knowledge of machine functions, metal

Special projects as assigned Required Skills / Knowledge Able to hold
tolerances at or below .005 Must be able to operate various powered hand
tools Able to read engineering & manufacturing drawings Able to check
own work with inspection tools, gauges, micrometers, and indicators
Capable of machining down to precise tolerances below .0005 inches
Capable of utilizing precise measuring equipment Able to follow written
and verbal instructions Ability to perform routine machine preventative
maintenance Control tooling inventory levels General understanding of
gas turbines, gearboxes and centrifugal compressors, or similar rotating
equipment Experience Must have minimum of 5 years experience working
with close tolerances on manual lathes, grinders and mills and
performing basic routine maintenance on machines & tools. Education
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements
