School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities Western MA has an
opening at our Chicopee campus for Lead Special Education Teacher to
work in a classroom setting providing educational services to children
and adolescents with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities Provide coordination and leadership to classroom
students and staff Deliver student individualized and group instruction
and other educational objectives Train staff on implementing student
programming Help design individualized curriculum and write IEPs Collect
and evaluate data Write and review student progress reports Implement
comprehensive behavior support plans Provide case management and home
consultation Deliver individualized and group instruction and other
educational objectives Prepare and complete MCAS and MCAS Alternative
portfolios Qualifications Master\'s degree preferred Massachusetts
certification in moderate or severe special education preferred
Applicants currently enrolled in a teacher special education licensure
program working towards moderate or severe special education licensure
will be considered Experience in ABA and working with students with
Autism and other developmental disabilities required Management
experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills
Availability to work year-round Monday through Friday Valid Driver\'s
