JOB REQUIREMENTS: Chippewa County is accepting applications for a 2024
Seasonal Parks Maintenance Technician position within the Facilities and
Parks Division. The job duties of the Parks Maintenance Technician
include but are not limited to performing maintenance and construction
tasks with lead worker supervisory responsibilities under the
supervision of the Parks Manager. Primary duties include but are not
limited to: dock instillation and removal, buoys placement and removal,
chainsaw work (storm damage and firewood), small engine repair, and
structural building repair, etc. 2024 Season begins in May through late
October 2024. Seasonal employment that averages 40 hours per week.
Position may require working on weekends and holidays. ***** OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Four (4) years construction, forestry, or
small engine maintenance work required. A minimum of two (2) years
equipment operation (skid steer, back hoe, dump truck, loader, etc.). A
Class A CDL within 60 days of employment required. A cell phone is
