Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned Senior Technical & Executive Reporting Lead with stellar ability to transform complex technical data into a succinct narrative while coaching up and downstream to ensure alignment with executive goals. This individual has proven experience leading multiple and competing complex projects, coaching team for outcomes, and ensuring a timely delivery amidst daunting obstacles. The Reporting Lead brings an executive presence to advancing technical and executive meetings, planning, analysis, writing, editing, and reporting. Provides leadership and expert analysis to requirements gathering for complex projects and significant business initiatives. Reviews, analyzes, edits, and enhances existing business and technical documentation, webpages and other communications media for effectiveness, clarity, and accuracy.
As a member of Information Security Services, the ideal candidate must have experience in providing leadership within cross-functional, technical teams (including senior stakeholders, business line leaders, and subject-matter experts) in order to deliver advanced technical communication services within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment in alignment with the business strategy, regulatory requirements, and evolving industry standards.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree: English, Communications, or Journalism
At least 10 years’ Technical Communication Experience
Experience leading Executives through project delivery
Preferred Skills/Experience
Advance training is advantageous: Technical and Professional/Executive Communication
Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts in everyday terms; including board presentations, executive-level talking points, policy and standard documentation, process and procedure documentation, process design and usability
Ability to lead the delivery of technical communication solutions and expert business assessments and analysis to ensure consistent messaging for complex communications projects and business initiatives
Cultivates an awareness of and shares knowledge of industry trends, helping to accurately assess associated business impact(s) and to anticipate strategic consequences; ably analyzes and articulates implications of compliance requirements and gaps; certifications such as AZ-900 are a plus
Applies research to business and technical documentation, strategic communication, and reports to ensure the highest level of quality in deliverables
A strong ability to independently interface with all levels of personnel, including senior stakeholders, business line leaders, and technical subject-matter experts
Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to hear what is being said and what is unspoken yet implied; captures communication intent with delivery (both for reporting and talking points) that ably communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholders at every level of the organization
Extensive experience with repository tools such as MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Teams and SharePoint
Possesses and applies data visualization capabilities to help better depict data and translate complex technical explanations
Strong organizational skills; experience providing design consultation, implementation support, and content management services to documentation repositories and knowledge management systems
Strong interpersonal skills are essential as this individual can expect to do significant coaching and mentoring of staff; both inexperienced and experienced
Manages multiple projects with competing deadlines and deliverables – simultaneously providing direction to team on projects, deadlines, edits; ably translates divergent conversation into action items and trackable edits
Systematically conveys document versioning, while preserving auditable evidence
Experience and knowledge of Information Security environment, standards, procedures, policies, including a diverse technical background with regulatory requirements, technologies and controls that mitigate information security risks
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $164,390.00 - $193,400.00 - $212,740.00
