About the Opportunity DMI, LLC is seeking a Product Owner for our managed services company to manage the development and launch of new SaaS products as well as each iteration. They serve as the focal point from the product ideation phase through the go-to-market phase of the product lifecycle. They create a product roadmap that covers the entire product team, guarantees seamless product functionality, decides upon how to prioritize the backlog, and advances the product vision. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure business requirements are clearly defined and communicated through the creation of Epics and User Stories that adhere to Agile and Scrum principles, and are aligned to business goals and expectations. Model Agile principles to increase speed and frequency of product delivery by maintaining and communicating groomed backlog, providing requirement prioritization for backlog, and set criteria for Minimum Viable Product. Create, maintain, and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, including near-term delivery and long-term product evolution. Develop strategic product plan and deliver breakthrough capabilities by working with technical and non-technical partners; measure output, improve execution, and continuously deliver customer value. Define product strategy, features, and success criteria for evaluating vendors/partners to make ongoing buy-build-partner-acquire decisions. Identify opportunities to create best-in-class platform capabilities by leveraging customer/developer feedback, monitoring/analytics, and team know-how/ know-why in order to connect company strengths with available resources. Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven solutions. Ability to weigh competing priorities, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities. Qualifications Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or comparable degree or experience. Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: Regular and reliable attendance. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Multitasking skills and ability to keep up in a fast-paced work environment. The ability to utilize critical thinking to complete tasks. Ability to contribute to the team culture. Additional Requirements: 5+ years of agile product management on an Agile team (scrum, Kanban). Experience in a digital/eCommerce company with demonstrated success delivering new products, platforms, and experiences to markets. Exceptional communication, organization, and analytical skills. Demonstrated experience creating and using strategy to solve complex problems that span across multiple divisions and groups within company. Ability to identify metrics and key performance measures and use data to drive decisions which enhance the customer experience. Working experience with Jira and with analytical tools.
