Summary:
The Senior Asset Manager is responsible for equipment asset management functions including current and future valuations of complex highly visible assets such as aircraft, rail, and marine for new business transactions and valuations for portfolio management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage, conduct and perform machine and equipment valuations on more complex assets such as aircraft, rail and marine requiring a high amount of research, market conditions, internal and external sources, consultants, etc.
Perform and approve more complex desktop reviews including internal appraisal reviews on high-risk assets
Perform equipment inspections and interim line invoice and funding requests; attend any and all credit meetings and work closely with management, credit and other team members
Prepare and write Enhanced Residual Reviews for residual exposure >$500M
Manage and oversee remarketing of major assets such as aircraft and rail
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
10+ years experience in all core equipment management functions of valuation, portfolio management and remarketing with other lending institutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated skills in equipment valuation, management and forecasting
Well-developed written and oral communication to interact with management, credit, colleagues and customers
